TESTIMONIALS FROM CATHERINE'S PAST RETREATS

Despite its place on a pedestal in modern work culture, science tells us that stress isn’t helping us work better. In fact, unchecked stress inhibits our creativity, makes us way less productive. To top it off, chronic stress makes us sicker, less connected, and less content in our lives.  If we want to change our lives for the better, developing a new relationship with stress is a powerful place to start.

Among its many gifts, building stress resilience gives you deeper focus, sustained energy, the powerful ability to perform your best under high pressure, and better health, and (!!) more time and energy outside of work for the things and people that matter in your sweet life.

Your relationship to stress is dynamic. You can transform a toxic stress relationship into a well-managed superpower by building stress resilience.

Why is the retreat called "Fill Your Cup First"?

Many high-achieving women pour their time and energy FIRST into their work, leaving just leftovers for their wellness and personal life.

This retreat is called Fill Your Cup First because this is the essential first step in creating the balanced, vibrant life that you're dreaming of.

Here's a high-level look at the framework we'll be working with on retreat:
  • First, you learn to make tiny resilience-building choices during the work day to take care of yourself
  • These tiny shifts add up: by filling your cup first, you feel better and you perform better
  • Overtime, you've built sturdy habits that support stress resilience
  • The long-term benefits? Deeper focus, sustained energy, the powerful ability to perform your best under high pressure, and better health, and more time and energy outside of work for the things and people that matter in your sweet life.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the retreat include?

This retreat includes everything during your time in Nicaragua: airport shuttles, chef-curated meals, delightful accommodations, daily yoga + workshops, a surf lesson, and sunset horseback riding.

The retreat also includes a 1:1 with Catherine before the retreat, a 1:1 on retreat, and 3 months of accountability and support post retreat. Get all the details here

What happens before the retreat?

In the month before the retreat, you'll meet with Catherine 1:1 to connect and lay the foundation for your retreat experience. On this call, Catherine will answer any questions you have. In mid-January, you'll also get a welcome packet with a packing list.

What does working retreat mean?

  • You’ll have the time and space to keep your work rhythms so that you’re developing new skills, mindset, and habits in an environment that is relatively similar to your daily workflow. This will help you avoid the dreaded reverse culture shock and help you hit the ground running (and with a smile!) when you land back home.
  • You’ll have 6-8 hours of dedicated work time every day.
  • For your maximum benefit, integration of new habits, and enjoyment of the retreat, I recommend that you work regular days Monday through Wednesday and consider taking half days off on Thursday and Friday.
  • Those ~7 hours of daily work time, but if you choose to take half days at the end of the week, you’ll give yourself the gift of extra space. You might use that time for reflecting, journaling, diving deep into an inspiring book that’s been on your list for ages, brainstorming a new idea, or working on another creative endeavor.

MEET YOUR RETREAT HOSTS

I started my career at a start-up in Boston where I learned the hard way how difficult it can be to take care of our ourselves in a demanding work environment. In early 2020, I pivoted into the wellness world, and spent two years teaching and training in yoga in Costa Rica. Now, I bring the two worlds together, teaching high-powered people and teams how to build stress resilience. It's the key to unlocking health, productivity, connection, and joy. If you're ready to transform your life, you're in the right place.
